The Dickson Street Inn Neighborhood Attractions

Dickson Street Inn is located in the heart of Northwest Arkansas' premier Arts, Entertainment and Dinning District. Within a couple of blocks you'll find The Walton Arts Center presenting Broadway shows, touring national and international acts. An array of local, regional and international cuisines are steps away.  These are locally owned and operated establishments that capture the flavor of Fayetteville. Across the street is a liquor store offering a great selection of wines, domestic and imported beers and spirits. One of the states oldest drug stores is a block away along with the US Post Office. The Dickson Street entertainment District is home base to such national events as Bikes, Blues and BBQ and local favorites such as Springfest and The Fayetteville Arts Festival. Music abounds on Dickson Street. Fayetteville's vibrant music scene draws regionally and nationally touring groups.  There is a piano bar, and many other venues for great local artists are just steps away. 

Enjoy wine and beer right here at the Veranda Wine Bar or venture out to the area's other dining or drinking establishments. The famous seasonal Farmers Market is only three blocks away on the Fayetteville Downtown Square and is open Tuesday, Thursday and Saturdays.  The state's largest used bookstore is located on the same block as The Dickson Street Inn and the new, state of the art Fayetteville Public Library, voted Library of the Year in 2005, is just a few blocks southwest. Worship locally at any one of a half dozen churches close by. Access to Fayetteville's extensive walking and biking trail system is a hundred yards away. Last but not least, the University of Arkansas campus is just 3 blocks west. The many sporting and college-related events create an energy that can't be matched.  So when you get to The Dickson Street Inn, park the car as you won't need it.
