Dickson Street Inn Policies

Rates:
Rates include complimentary continental breakfast, local telephone service, and Wi-Fi high-speed Internet access. Rates are subject to state and local sales and occupancy taxes, which may change without notice.

Confirmation Policy:
A Credit Card guarantee is required at the time of booking for all reservations.

Special Event weekends require a deposit for the full amount of the stay or 50% of the amount for multiple night stays, depending on the event, which is due at the time of booking. Some special event dates require a two- or three-night minimum.

Cancellation Policy:
Reservations canceled with more than two weeks notice in advance of the stay may be assessed a minimal cancellation (re-booking) fee of $50.

Cancellations made within two weeks and up to 48 hours in advance of the date of stay may be assessed a cancellation fee of $50 or up to half the total value of the stay.

Reservations canceled within 48 hours of the stay will be held responsible for the full amount of the stay. In the case of multiple night bookings in which we are able to resell the room at full rate for the subsequent nights, a cancellation penalty of one night or up to half of the total value of the stay may be assessed.

Cancellations made for reservations during special event weekends will not be eligible for a refund unless the room can be resold at full rate, in which case the full amount of the original deposit less a $50 cancellation fee (per room) will be refunded.

Any Reservations cancelled with enough notice for us to resell the room at its full value may have all cancellation penalties waived.

Small Inns such as our can be affected greatly by cancellations and as such we encourage as much notice as possible from our guests when cancellations are unavoidable.

Regrettably, no refund can be given for no-shows. In the case of an early departure for multiple night stays a refund for the remaining balance of the stay less the $50 cancellation fee may be given if the room can be resold for the subsequent nights at full value.

Other Policies:
Check in is typically any time after 3PM and check out, 12PM noon. Special arrangements can be made for early arrivals and late departures with advance notice, though such arrangements cannot always be guaranteed.

Our Inn is smoke-free facility; however we do permit smoking on our exterior patio and deck spaces. Guests who choose to disregard the smoking policy and smoke in their room will be charged a refurbishing fee.

Guests found liable for any damages done to their room will be charged for any repair, replacement or additional services needed to return the room to its proper state.

Children are welcome at our Inn, though we prefer to know in advance of guests traveling with children under the age of 16.

Pets are not allowed in our rooms though we will gladly make arrangements with a recommended local kennel for guests traveling with pets (subject to availability).

Our ground floor Carriage House Suite (Suite #9) is ADA approved for wheelchair access. Kindly let our Innkeeper know in advance of any special accommodations should there be any. Special accommodations can also be made for guests with specific dietary needs and/or allergies with advance notice, though such accommodations cannot always be guaranteed.

Parking is located in our lot off of Locust Street just behind the Inn, in marked spaces only. The striped loading zone on Locust street is especially for guests of our Inn and may be used at any time for loading and unloading. We have additional space available in a secure lot at the end of Locust street. Inquire with the Innkeeper on duty for further detail.
